The conventional way to present CCTV is to show the operator all the camera images in small squares on a screen.
The Janus VMS, however, sorts through the information and only provides the operator with those images s/he wants, organised according to the number of events and the system's 10 priority levels. Events are taken from video analytics or external sources (intruder centres, fire detection, access control, etc).
The Janus VMS software is easy to learn and allows access to “live” or recorded video via a user-friendly interface based on synoptic maps.
